THE DEADLINE IS extended to January 15, 2009

Rosebud is honored to announce the 5th biennial X.J. Kennedy Award for Creative Nonfiction. Mr. Kennedy is one of America’s most admired editors, poets and essayists. He was the judge of the first competition and remains a valued supporter and adviser. The current contest will be judged by Roderick Clark, Rosebud editor and VOICE OVER columnist, and Robert Wake, author and editor of Cambridge Book Review Press.

As Judge Clark observes: “Paper is flat and the world is round. Telling the truth about the world requires both discipline and imagination. The winner must display both.”
