IdeaMI is the contest which puts creative talent (in graphic design or writing) from all over the world, whether professional or amateur, to the test.

Participants must depict Milan through a slogan, or through a t-shirt design. The contest is open to people of all nationalities and ages, and there is no participation fee.

The IdeaMI contest is divided into two categories:

IdeaMI Visual.
Create a T-shirt for Milan.
Send your design of a t-shirt playing upon the Milan logo, making it an integral part of your idea. Enhance the logo with a drawing, photo or graphic design which expresses how you remember or imagine Milan to be, or how you wish it were.

IdeaMI Writing. Create a slogan for Milan.
Send a phrase, a jingle, a slogan – a short text which expresses Milan’s identity for you.  You can send any text you like, original, engaging or ironic; write it in your own language or in whichever language you consider most appropriate (if it is written in any other foreign language, please submit a translation into Italian or English with it).

PRIZE. The winning entry will receive a prize worth €1,000 for the t-shirt design, and €500 for the slogan (for more information and to see the advert, visit www.tourism.milan.it and click on the IdeaMI banner).

The best entries will be published for the rest of the world to see on the Milan Tourism portal (www.tourism.milan.it) and in an issue of néo (www.neoenews.com).

Participants will be judged by a select panel and through an online vote managed by the Milan Tourism portal (www.tourism.milan.it) and by néo e-magazine during the months of September and October.

In addition to this, participants may eventually receive offers of collaboration on creative work or for the marketing of their ideas, from the promoters and supporters of this initiative.

The deadline for sending your entries is the 10th October 2010, for more information and to see the advert, visit www.tourism.milan.it (click on the IdeaMI banner).
