MAG Poetry Prize 2011
Online Submission Deadline: 30 April 2011 
 
The winner will take away a 1st Prize of a least £2,000. The total prize fund accumulates at the rate of £2 per entry up to £10,000.
 
The competition is judged anonymously by the entrants themselves. The judging takes place over three rounds. In the first two rounds, groups of 12 poems are randomly allocated out to the participants. In the third round all participants can read the final shortlist of 12 poems.
 
This is the third year of the competition. Last year entries were received from 27 countries.
 
The entry fee is £6 per poem. Poems should be a maximum of 42 lines and previously unpublished.
 
All profits from the competition will be donated to MAG (Mines Advisory Group). MAG is a neutral and impartial humanitarian organisation that clears the remnants of conflict for the benefit of communities worldwide.
