Creative Writing Instructor, Poetry. The College of Arts & Sciences invites applications for a non-tenure-track position in English (Creative Writing, Poetry) at the rank of instructor beginning fall 2007. This position carries a three-year contract with possibility of renewal & offers a competitive salary & teaching load. Requirements for the position include publication of poems in nationally-known venues, successful experience teaching poetry-writing workshops at tthe college level, & possession of the appropriate terminal degree (MFA or PhD). Duties include teaching poetry writing in the core curriculum & in the Creative Writing concentration within the English major, mentoring such students, assisting in administration of the Creative Writing Program, & continuing to publish poetry in recognized venues.
