The MFA program in Creative Writing invites applications for a one-semester position for a writer of creative nonfiction. Salary competitive. Appointment is for one semester only. The Visiting Writer normally teaches two graduate courses in creative writing to students in the MFA program. In addition, the successful candidate will be asked to give at least one public reading &/or lecture on writing, meet informally with students & faculty, & may be asked to visit undergraduate classes on occasion.

Qualifications: MFA or PhD preferred. A record of distinguished publication (at least one book) & significant teaching experience required The successful candidate must have the ability to work
