Kennesaw State University invites applications for a nine- month, tenure-track assistant professor to teach specifically courses in fiction writing for the MA in Professional Writing Program & undergraduate fiction- writing courses as well as other courses depending on the new hire’s interests & other expertise. The Department has 60 full-time faculty members, seventeen of whom also teach in the MAPW Program. The program offers concentrations in applied writing, composition/ rhetoric, & creative writing. The candidate selected will be expected to have either an MFA in Creative Writing or PhD in English (ABDs will be considered); a strong record of teaching; & at least one novel or collection of short stories that has been published or that is in press.
