THE LETTERED OLIVE LITERARY REVIEW, the University of South Carolina’s undergraduate literary journal, is accepting submissions for its Spring 2010 publication. Submit up to five poems or 4000 words of prose (fiction, nonfiction, dramatic writing) to be considered for publication and a modest cash prize ($75 for the most outstanding entries each in poetry and prose). Journals are unveiled in April at a reception honoring all published students.

GUIDELINES:

–Entrants must be enrolled at an undergraduate institution in the United States.
–All entries must be submitted as a single (1) Microsoft Word attachment to SOLIVE@MAILBOX.SC.EDU –Title page must include the following: your full name, the university/college you attend, a mailing address, e-mail address, and the title of submitted works. NOTE: Your name must not appear on any subsequent pages.
–Submissions must be in 12 pt Times New Roman, Arial, or Georgia font.
–Prose entries must be double spaced; poetry entries single spaced.
