Both students and professional writers are encouraged to submit pieces to the nonfiction and fiction categories. We offer $500 prizes for both categories. Students can win an additional $500 bookstore gift certificate (which can be used by anybody regardless of location, as purchases can be made through the Iowa State bookstore website — http://www.isubookstore.com — or by phone).
