Planet of Death is a travel writing competition for dangerous, exotic or
extreme travel experiences. No picturesque schlock please.
This round is based in East and South East Asia. Future rounds will cover the globe.
Entries must be no more than one page (c.500 words) in length.
Suitable for the recycling of blog entries and flash non-fiction.
The first 100 entries are free, thereafter $7 for one and $15 for three.
There is no closing date. Each competition is closed on receipt of the
maximum number of entries. It is estimated that this will occur around the
end of August.
Ten cash prizes from a fund estimated to be around $5,000 ($1500 first
prize).
Publication for the top 100 rated entries.
