The All Genres Writing Competition hosts writing contests for the following categories:

Children’s Books (No Word Limit)
Young Adult (No Word Limit)
Poetry (No Word Limit)
Romance (No Word Limit)
Screenplays (120 pages)
Fiction (No Word Limit)
Non-Fiction (No Word Limit)

We also offer a junior writing contest in all genres for writers 12-18 years of age.

All Genres Writing Contest is an international writing contest, but only accepts manuscript submissions in English. Winners can choose to receive the cash equivalent of each prize ($3,000 first prize, $1,000 Category prizes, $75 runners-up).

The first 50 applicants will be automatically entered in our “new website contest.” Just tell us why you need a new website in the entry form. One website will be offered every 10 entries.

Grand Prize

The first prize is a 3 day writing retreat at one of the top 10 luxury resorts in the World, Dunton Hot Springs in Colorado.

That retreat includes air-fare in the continental U.S. and all of your meals during your stay. Every writer deserves to be pampered, so we also include $250 if you want to get a massage or other treatment while on site. Just don’t get carried away and remember to write while taking in the breathtaking views.

You can also choose to receive the cash value of the stay at the hot springs.

The winner will be selected from the category winners. Exclusion: Our Junior Writing Contest winners are not eligible to win the 3 day writing retreat.

Category Prize

One winner will be selected in each of the categories. Each winner will receive a brand new computer. You will be able to choose from either Apple or HP stores. The grand prize replaces the category prize for the winner.

Runners-up

Two runners-up in each category will receive a $75 amazon gift card.
