New Jewish Play Festival

will stage readings of selected

plays in mid-August 2012

at Congregation Dor Hadash
in San Diego, CA

Submission Guidelines (revised this year)

1) direct submission by playwright with cover letter;
no literary representative or agency submissions

2) completed full-length plays only; no works-in-progress
no one-act plays, no 10-minute plays, no musical plays

3) must have major Jewish characters and/or Jewish themes

4) must be originally written in English; no translations

5) not yet produced, but available for production

6) digitally (.doc or .pdf) to:  jewishplayfestival@dorhadash.org
or in printed form (with SASE for requested returns)

7) $10 administration fee per script (submit via regular mail
made payable to: Congregation Dor Hadash)

8) play and fee must be received by March 1, 2012 at 5 pm

9) notification of selections will be made by June 30, 2012
