The theme for the contest is “what is the meaning of the Second Amendment and how does it relate to the modern world.” Students are encouraged to use the theme as a guideline and to be creative with the interpretation of the Second Amendment as they describe its relevance to their lives.

  • Double spaced
  • 1 inch margins
  • Include an essay title
  • Have 12 point font
