Avery’s inaugural Small Spaces Fiction Prize is now open for entries. The winning entry will be awarded $150 and published in Avery 5 (Spring 2009). Kevin Brockmeier will judge.
Contest Guidelines:
Unpublished stories of up to 5000 words are eligible. All manuscripts must be typed, double-spaced, and submitted online. Entry fee is $10, payable via the Avery website. Once fee is paid, send entry as Word attachment to smallspaces@averyanthology.org, with entrant’s name and SMALL SPACES PRIZE as subject line. Deadline is April 1st, 2009.
Winners will be announced on the Avery website in May 2009. The first 100 entrants will received a copy of Avery 5. All submissions will be considered for publication.
