THE 2007 WASHINGTON SQUARE REVIEW COMPETITION
Washington Square Review invites you to enter the 2007 Washington Square Review competition. Winners (one in Fiction and one in Poetry) receive $500 and publication in a forthcoming issue of Washington Square. Selected runners-up will also receive publication. The 2007 judges will be Darin Strauss (author of Chang & Eng) and Nick Flynn (author of Blind Huber).
Submit up to 3 poems (6 pages total) or one short story (up to 20 pages). Include cover sheet with name and title of work(s) submitted, address, email, and phone.
Do not put your name on individual pages of the manuscript. Multiple entries require separate reading fees Include SASE (not required) for list of winners. Winners will be notified by phone.
Reading fee is $10 payable to “New York University” DEADLINE (postmark date): October 15, 2006 Winners will be announced in Winter 2007
