Scripped Inc. is hosting its first annual “Write for a Cause” competition, and we want you to submit your short script! Write a 5-10 page script about the global financial crisis and the political complexities surrounding it. Be funny, be clever, and be relevant to the problems we face today. The winning script will be easy to produce, accessible to a broad audience, and say something original about the global recession. Financial crises can be comedic, dramatic, horrific, or even romantic. Make this topic yours!

Prize: $500 for exclusive rights to your script, an email to our 20,000 users, a message to our 2,000+ Twitter followers, and an email to the Harvard Kennedy School of Government with your script attached from our co-founder (and HKS alum) Ryan Buckley publicizing your work to HKS alums and current students

Deadline: August 1, 2009
