Writerstype.com is starting up four monthly contests in the categories of: Poem, Flash Fiction, Short Story, and First Chapter.

Monthly winners are automatically entered into our yearly competition.

Entry fees are $5 for Poem or Flash Fiction, and $10 for Short Story or First Chapter.

The only deadlines are the end of each month. But new contests begin at the start of the next.

Authors retain all rights and can elect to not have their winning work published on our site.

Awards are currently: recognition as monthly winner, entry into our yearly contest, a copy of our judges notes on their work, hosting of their work on our website for a limited time (with permission), and forwarding of any publishing professionals’ inquiries to their contact email.
