VENTURA COUNTY BOOK & AUTHOR FAIR IS LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS

(Ventura, CA – September 20, 2011) The Ventura County Book & Author Fair is looking for volunteers to help in a variety of positions for this year’s festival, to be held Saturday, November 5th at the Pleasant Valley Community Park Auditorium in Camarillo. The Festival is open to the public.
The Pacific Institute for Professional Writing, producer of the event, is asking for the public’s support by volunteering. As a nonprofit organization, the community’s involvement welcomed and appreciated. The Ventura County Writers Club and the Small Publishers Artists and Writers Network are co-sponsors.
Volunteer positions include: ticket takers, registration desk, door monitors, poster and flier distribution, assisting exhibitors, and more. To learn more about the fair, visit: http://www.vcbookandauthorfair.com/.
