Our LeafGuard Squirrel needs a name and we could use your child’s help to come up with one. Your child could win up to a $1,500 head start toward their college tuition. We are asking children 8 – 13 years old, to tell us what our squirrel’s name should be and to tell us why they have picked that name. Essays should be 150 words or less and submitted no later than December 31, 2011.

Prizes
One First Prize winner will receive $1,500, funded to an educational savings account.
One Second Prize winner will receive $1,000, funded to an educational savings account.
One Third Prize winner will receive $500, funded to an educational savings account.

About the Contest
In 150 words or less, tell us what our squirrel’s name should be and why you have picked that name.

Contest runs from June 15, 2011 through December 31, 2011. Mailed entries must be postmarked by no later than December 24, 2011.

To enter online, send your typed, double-spaced submission of 150 words maximum, preferably double spaced and formatted for 8½-by-11-inch paper in a Microsoft Word document to contest@leafguard.com.

To enter via postal mail, submit your essay by mailing your entry to Squirrel Contest, PO Box 310, Pluckemin, NJ 07978. Mailed entries must be postmarked no later than December 24, 2011. All entries must be received no later than December 31, 2011. Limit one entry per person or e-mail account. Essays should be submitted in English at a maximum of 150 words and typed and double-spaced on 8½-by-11-inch paper. Essays exceeding this length or handwritten may not be considered.
