My name is Stephen and I represent a London based film and TV website; we are holding a writing competition for any aspiring film journalists or anybody who wants to give a film review a go. If all goes to plan we aim to have one a month so people can give film writing a go on a regular basis and have a chance to get their review published and win a cash prize.  

The competition is free to enter. 

The winner gets a £25 prize, their review published on the site and opportunities of further writing commissions in the future. 

All you have to do to enter is to write a description of at one of the five films/series featured in our competition album on Facebook
and post your review/summary in the comments section. 

– You can enter as many times as you like: you can post a review under just one, or all five photos.  

– Entries must be no longer than 120 words and must sell the film to those who visit the site. We encourage people to include interesting facts, critical acclaim and awards won, etc.

– The closing date for entries is the 22nd February 2013

– Votes will be counted on the 1st March at 5pm.

– The winner with the highest number will receive a £25 prize. On top of this, they will have their work published as the description on the site, will become a member of our writing team and given future commissions when we release new seasons and content. 

The winner will be the person who gets the highest number of ‘likes’ on their 
comment by the closing date. 

In addition to the voting element we will invite the authors of entries we particularly like, 
even if they do not win the prize, to do further work for us in future.
