Are calling for entries to their 2nd annual ‘Pint-Size Plays NZ’ short play writing competition.

1.       The competition is open to anyone, provided the script is the original work of the entrant.

2.       Plays must be capable of being staged in a pub, with a running time of between 5 – 10 minutes.

3.       Scripts should require no more than 3 actors using a minimal number of props.

4.       Scripts will be judged on originality, writing quality and entertainment value.

5.       The author’s name must not appear in the script – this is an anonymous competition.

6.       Scripts will be short listed to 8 – which will be performed, before a live audience, who will decide the winner.

7.       Entries close:  30 – Nov – 2013

8.       Performance date:  02 – March – 2014
