The 2014 Emerging Writers Contest will be open for submissions from March 1 to May 15, 2014. Submissions are accepted in fiction, nonfiction, and poetry and the winner in each category will receive $1,000 and publication in Ploughshares. Fiction stories have a 6,000 word limit and the submission fee is $24. Please find the contest webpage here.
