Ploughshares Emerging Writer’s Contest

A prize of $1,000 and publication in Ploughshares will be given to work by an emerging writer in each of three genres-fiction, nonfiction, and poetry.  Writers who haven’t published or self-published a book can submit 3-5 poems or under 6,000 words of prose with a $24 entry fee (which includes a one-year subscription to Ploughshares) .
