Please share our 6th Annual St. Paul JCC Spring Poetry Contest.

National Poetry Month at the St. Paul JCC
Throw caution and self-consciousness to the wind and enter the 6th Annual St. Paul JCC Spring Poetry Contest. This is especially important to do if you have never written a poem before. Spring demands some stretching and a new approach.

Hence, our contest theme (totally optional) is RENEW, be it an overdue library book, your marriage vows, that appliance protection plan or your own sweet self. Write in absolutely any form you choose: haiku? limerick? sonnet? rhymed verse?   Yes, yes, yes, and yes.

Hand in your poems or snail mail to the St. Paul JCC or e-mail them to: bfriend@stpauljcc.org. Winners will be judged in the categories of: pre-school, school-age, teen, and adult. Prizes will be given out and poems will be displayed at the JCC and at Common Good Books.

Where:  St. Paul JCC, 1375 St. Paul Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55116
