Entry is free and the deadline for entries is midnight on the 13th May 2012, the last day of the Premier League football season. 

Prizes: First place, £50; Second place, £30; Third place, £20 (paid in British Pounds Sterling by bank transfer or PayPal)

The FBFT Sports Writing Competition 2012 is open to anyone aged 18 years or older.

Entries may be up to 1500 words in length and must be related to sport in some way. The three winning articles will receive the cash prizes as detailed and will be published on the website. We are particularly interested in sports writing that is original, exciting or somehow out of the ordinary.
