Northern Colorado Writers, LLC has extended the deadline for the first contest in its 2012 contest series: Short fiction.  The contest is open to everyone and offers cash prizes of 1st: $200, 2nd: $100, and 3rd: $50. Winners and honorable mentions will be published in the second annual winners’ anthology, Pooled Ink: Celebrating the 2012 NCW Contest Winners, scheduled for release on December 1.  Entry fees are $10 if mailed, $15 if emailed. The judge for this category is Antonya Nelson, award-winning author and instructor of creative writing at the University of Houston.
The new deadline is March 15th, 2012.
