Midlife Collage Writing Contest!

Enter a Writing Contest. US citizens and legal residents age 40 and over.

Weekly writing contest with a cash prize of $50 to the winner. Send us a short story — your story about an experience in midlife. No word minimum. No fee to enter. Multiple entries are allowed. There is currently no limit on the number of weekly contests that you may enter. Readers rate the vignettes. The winner is the vignette with the highest average star rating.

Submissions:

We are always accepting submissions. Tell us a short story. The submission guidelines are as follows:

Written in English by a person who is at least 40 years of age.

Must be your own true (nonfiction) short story occurring during your midlife. We define “midlife” as ages 40 – 65.

There is no word minimum. However, we recommend a length of 250 to 400 words.

Well-written.

Entertaining, insightful, humorous, or a combination of two or more characteristics.

Must not be offensive, political, religious or touch on other subjects deemed inappropriate by the Editor.

No Entry Fees.

JUDGING: ANYONE age 18 or older, worldwide can star rate and comment on the vignettes in a contest.
