There is no entry fee; there are prizes for first place ($100), second place ($30), and third place ($15). Our purpose is to encourage and reward young authors in a creative pursuit often overlooked in high school academic settings. The International Fish Short Story Prize 2009 is now open with Ronan Bennett as the judge. The ten best stories will be published in the annual Fish Anthology 2010.
